Cuidado de enfermagem em oncologia pediátrica: um olhar sobre o ser criança em tratamento oncológico

O câncer impõe desconsolação e diversas expectativas que modificam a vida da criança e do seu familiar. Sendo assim, a enfermagem com toda sua essência de cuidar com sensibilidade deve proporcionar um relacionamento interpessoal, transmitindo sentimento de ajuda e confiança. Desta forma torna-se considerável descrever a relação do cuidado sensível da enfermagem frente ao tratamento oncológico pediátrico. Diante deste contexto o estudo buscou por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica com abordagem qualitativa, tendo como referência e objeto de estudo, o cuidado sensível prestado pelo enfermeiro a criança oncológica. Conclui-se então que a prática do cuidado sensível, tanto para nós enfermeiros quanto para equipe de trabalho é de grande importância, pois podemos reconhecer que a interação e a sensibilidade no ato de cuidar podem ser utilizadas como uma prática terapêutica.
