Estudo teórico-reflexivo acerca da educação ambiental na atenção básica. Com objetivo de refletir e analisar a
educação ambiental para prevenção de doenças, sob o enfoque da da saúde coletiva. Vimos a importância em
conscientizar a população quanto às questões em educação ambiental. A prevenção de doenças está relacionada
ao desenvolvendo diversas atividades educativas desenvolvidas por profissionais de saúde coletiva que atuam
Atenção Básica, que utilizam diferentes métodos para realizar o controle das doenças mais prevalentes. Atividades
voltadas para educação ambiental, devem ser pautada nas multicausalidades, contextualização de questões
socioambientais e culturais, essenciais para o entendimento e formulação de estratégias. Constitui-se portanto,
passo fundamental para novas abordagens interventivas para promoção da saúde na área da saúde ambiental.
