Gravidez na adolescência: um desafio para as equipes que atuam na atenção primária à saúde

Introdução: a gravidez na adolescência é um fenômeno complexo e multifacetado que continua a ser um desafio significativo em todo o mundo. Ao analisar as ações em saúde, é importante considerar a necessidade de uma abordagem abrangente, que inclua tanto a prevenção primária quanto a secundária. Metodologia: Realizou-se uma revisão bibliográfica integrativa que teve como objetivo geral conhecer quais ações as equipes de atenção primária saúde desenvolvem para amenizar o grande índice de gestação na adolescência. Resultados e discussão: A análise revelou uma série de estratégias que envolvem programas de educação sexual, serviços de aconselhamento em saúde sexual, contraceptivos e campanhas de conscientização. Considerações finais: A rede de atenção primária é vital para evitar a gravidez na adolescência porque é frequentemente o primeiro local de contato dos jovens com o sistema de saúde. Para gerar melhores resultados, os profissionais de saúde devem ser bem treinados, conscientes das necessidades dos adolescentes e capazes de fornecer informações confiáveis, suporte emocional e contracepção.
