Introduction: This study aims to critically analyze the surgical and conservative therapeutic approaches used in the treatment of Monteggia fractures in adults, aiming to identify the most effective strategies and contribute to the improvement of hospital clinical protocols. Materials and Methods: It will adopt the method proposed in the manual of The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI), registered in the Open Science Framework (OSF) (https:// https://osf.io/5qte4/) and subsequently published (DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/5QTE4), following the determination of the PRISMA-Extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) checklist. Results: Searches will be conducted in nine databases and in the gray literature, where findings will be grouped using the Rayyan software, with duplicates removed. Article selection will be carried out in stages, including the reading of titles and abstracts, followed by evaluation of the full text by two independent reviewers, with a third being called in in situations of divergence. Discussion: The analysis and discussion of the extracted data will be carried out descriptively, summarizing the results with tabulated, mapped, and described results related to the objective and question of the review. Final Considerations: The final article will use the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR).
