Contribuições da equipe de enfermagem em unidades de terapia intensiva neonatal: uma revisão integrativa de literatura

Abstract

O estudo teve por objetivo apresentar a partir de revisão bibliográfica, as contribuições da enfermagem para a prevenção da infecção neonatal. A Metodologia
utilizada foi uma pesquisa do tipo exploratória descritiva, qualitativa, realizada através de busca bibliográfica nas bases de dados do Scientific Electronic
Library Online (SciELO), Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Bireme e Google acadêmico. Concluimos que a pesquisa
contribuiu, para apontar medidas que podem nortear as competências do enfermeiro diante da infecção neonatal. Percebeu-se que a Enfermagem tem papel
importante na prevenção da infecção no ambiente da Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal mostrando que é preciso promover ações de incentivo e melhorias
do trabalho da equipe no cuidado com o recém-nascido de alto risco.
