A enfermagem e a prevenção de infecções respiratórias agudas em crianças frequentadoras de creches

Abstract

Os objetivos da pesquisa são: descrever os cuidados realizados pela equipe de enfermagem na prevenção de infecções respiratórias em pré-escolares frequentadores de creche; e elaborar um roteiro de enfermagem para otimizar os cuidados de enfermagem na prevenção das infecções respiratórias em pré-escolares frequentadores de creches. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, de abordagem qualitativa e exploratória e descritiva, realizada através de uma revisão integrativa de literatura sobre o tema. É importante que se realize uma avaliação minuciosa e criteriosa da sistema respiratório e um bom julgamento clínico sobre as manifestações apresentadas. Estas condutas possibilitam elaboração de diagnósticos de enfermagem respiratórios mais apurados e melhoram o planejamento das ações de enfermagem. Diante do exposto, conclui-se que é necessário produzir mais estudos a cerca de medidas preventivas relacionadas a infecções respiratórias, pois foi encontrado poucos dados acerca do tema. A enfermagem tem muito a contribuir no bem-estar de crianças frequentadoras de creches, visto que ela é detentora de conhecimento, e pode utilizar-se da educação em saúde para promover saúde em unidades escolares
