The Overload of Nursing Professionals: the impact on Client care

Abstract

The present study seeks to elucidate the issues that cause nursing professional overload, taking into account the issues of the subject and possible solutions aimed at improving the mental health of these health professionals. Taking into account the hospital environment and the factors from which this professional may become ill. Interventions are necessary to improve work. This is an exploratory research of bibliographical knowledge seeking familiarity with the problem. To develop the current research, a qualitative systematic review study was used, using the PICO strategy. Articles indexed in the databases in the last five years were included. The findings show that workers in intensive care units are more likely to become ill. The overloads of the nursing team's functions are presented in the following factors: shifts, working hours, anxiety, stress level, depression, interpersonal relationships, customer assistance, double shifts, goals, work pace, difficulty in relation to support from support and maintenance services. The research developed reaffirms the scenario, and how it is reflected in customer care.
