Consentimento Informado em Pacientes da Clínica Cirúrgica Kênia Antunes

Este estudo qualitativo de caráter descritivo teve como objetivo
descrever como os pacientes submetidos à cirurgia, internados em Hospital
de Minas Gerais, receberam e compreenderam as informações referentes aos
procedimentos clínicos e cirúrgicos. A coleta de dados foi feita por entrevistas
semi-estruturadas com os pacientes, sendo estas gravadas, transcritas na
íntegra e analisadas. Observou-se que, era mínimo o conhecimento da maioria
dos pacientes sobre os procedimentos realizados, sendo que alguns não eram
capazes de dizer nem o nome da patologia que possuíam. Concluiu-se que, o
consentimento esclarecido não está sendo realizado de forma clara e completa
pela equipe multiprofissional da instituição estudada. Espera-se que este
trabalho instigue uma reflexão bioética e que novos estudos surjam a partir
deste, visto que existem poucas publicações sobre o ato e direito de consentir
no campo da saúde, principalmente sobre o consentimento para os cuidados
em saúde.
