Introduction: Sexuality in the pregnancy and puerperium period is an important topic, but little covered in healthcare and increasingly sought by the female population. Objectives: to identify issues related to female sexuality in pregnancy and postpartum in videos published on YouTube, as well as describing factors that hinder the exercise of sexuality. Materials and Methods: This is an exploratory qualitative study using videos from YouTube, selected using inclusion and exclusion criteria and analyzed with the content analysis technique. Results: it was observed that physical, psycho-affective and socio-cultural factors were mentioned in the videos analyzed and directly interfere with sexuality in the puerperal pregnancy period, in addition to technological factors that emerged as facilitators for the exercise of sexuality. Conclusion: the research shows that there is a shortage of studies on the subject and that the videos help through content not necessarily scientific.
Keywords: Sexuality; Pregnancy; Postpartum; Nursing; YouTube.
