A percepção do enfermeiro sobre as repercussões emocionais em pacientes submetidos à gastroplastia

Abstract

Objetivos: Descrever as repercussões emocionais percebidas em pacientes submetidos a gastroplastia e listar as contribuições que a gastroplastia trouxe a vida do paciente. Estudo descritivo exploratório realizado em clínica que presta atendimento a pacientes gastroplastizados, feito uma entrevista semi-estruturada com 10 pacientes que responderam um questionário obedecendo todos os requisitos da Resolução 196/96. Identificamos repercussões de aspecto emocional após a cirurgia positivas como elevação da autoestima, redução do estresse e bem estar somando 75% dos entrevistados, sendo que repercussões negativas como problemas conjugais e diminuição da libido apenas 25%. Para listar as contribuições que a gastroplastia trouxe a vida do paciente percebemos que muitos relataram a mudança do estilo de vida como uma grande contribuição, somando 70% dos entrevistados. Percebemos que as repercussões emocionais podem contribuir para um bom resultado na vida do paciente gastroplastizado, e que se estas forem negativas podem atrapalhar significativamente a qualidade de vida deste gastroplastizado gerando complicações e agravos.
