Atuação do enfermeiro no Hospital Amigo da Criança: uma revisão bibliográfica

Abstract

Este estudo tem por objetivos identificar, descrever e analisar nas referências a atuação do enfermeiro no Hospital Amigo da Criança. Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura do tipo exploratória e descritiva. Foram analisados artigos publicados entre os anos de 2003 e 2011 extraídos da base de dados Bireme e Scielo. Após leitura seletiva foram selecionados 19 artigos por se adequarem a temática. Através da análise, percebeu-se que o aleitamento materno tem sido amplamente difundido e que a Iniciativa do Hospital Amigo da Criança é muito importante no combate ao desmame precoce. Foi possível notar o quanto o profissional de enfermagem é fundamental para orientar e esclarecer dúvidas das puérperas quanto ao aleitamento materno. Constatamos também as dificuldades enfrentadas por estes profissionais e a importância destes estarem em educação continuada para realizarem suas competências no HAC com sucesso.
