Principais lesões reacionais e inflamatórias: aspéctos clínicos

Resumen

As lesões reacionais e inflamatórias estão entre as mais incidentes lesões bucais, e o cirurgião-dentista deve estar preparado para reconhecê-las e diagnosticá-las de maneira satisfatória. Este trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar a etiologia e os aspectos clínicos das principais lesões reacionais e inflamatórias, sendo estas: hiperplasia fibrosa e hiperplasia fibrosa inflamatória, granuloma piogênico, fibroma cemento-ossificante periférico e lesão periférica de células gigantes, fenômenos de extravasamento de muco – mucocele e rânula, sialoadenites, hiperqueratoses reacionais, estomatite aftosa recorrente, e líquen plano. Devido à elevada frequência das lesões reacionais e inflamatórias que acometem a região bucal, é extremamente importante que o cirurgião-dentista realize o reconhecimento preciso destas lesões, visto que o diagnóstico é a variante mais influente sobre o tratamento do quadro clínico.
