This reflection article aims to analyze artificial intelligence in nursing as learning opportunities and its ethical issues. The purpose of this article is the development of a reflective analysis with a qualitative, descriptive approach aimed at providing a basis for the use of artificial intelligence through its learning potential for nursing and articulating ethical aspects in everyday academic life. The discussions will be based on the following points of analysis: ethics in the use of artificial intelligence; artificial intelligence in scientific publishing and artificial intelligence in nursing teaching as educational technology. It is noteworthy that artificial intelligence can be used to create educational content, improving student engagement and interaction and personalizing learning experiences where the student is the protagonist of their collaborative learning. However, it is important to highlight the challenges that artificial intelligence brings to us in scientific publishing in its ethical aspects, but it is clear that it is possible to address this issue in a transformative way in the face of its challenges, offering possibilities for educational strategies allowing its use to be carried out in a responsible way in nursing teaching.
