Objective: To describe the experience of a nursing student in two projects related to the practice of online meditation, carried out with students from the federal university of Rio de Janeiro. Method: This is descriptive research of the experience report type, arising from the experiences of practicing online meditation associated with an extension project at the Aurora de Afonso Costa School of Nursing at UFF, called “promoting the health of university students”. Result: The results showed that the students showed reduced stress and strengthened emotional resilience. That is, they reported a general improvement in emotional well-being, which allowed them to increase their ability to deal with adversity more effectively. Conclusion: The resulting article can offer a valuable contribution to other initiatives conducted under the same conditions. Furthermore, the visual resource created serves as a support that can enrich understanding and simplify the implementation of similar meditative practices.
